Our Story

BRINGING DANCE OUTSIDE THE STUDIOS.

Sisters Kim and Liz (a surgeon and dentist duo) founded KIZZI Dancewear in 2015 with a passion for redefining performance dance costumes. Their daughters danced competitively, and they struggled to find outfits that weren't itchy, too fussy, and fit well. So they did it themselves!

KIZZI began on Kim's living room floor, continues to design and develop everything in Austin, TX, and hand makes every KIZZI piece in our Jaurez, Mexico factory. We also offer a thoughtful collection of brands to complement our exclusive label.

We've expanded because, well, who doesn't dance? It's our goal that everyone explores their inner dancer and experiences the sheer joy of rhythm-inspired movement. Whether creating a viral TikTok, playing at a festival, chilling poolside, or while cooking dinner, just dance and look good doing so! In other words, SHAKE IT CUTELY!
